Calvary Flames Basketball

Well, I've been playing for 8 games and I love this game. I'm working hard to get more playing time. I have to work on my defense and I should be starting. We played tonight and we won 29-28. I really like my team and I and I like passing to my friend Jordan. He can really shoot. My friend Kendall is great on the boards. I hope we continue to work hard and win. Shout out to Jordan and Kendall my running mates on the court!

Does Philly have the wrong "Answer"??

Yeah, I said it. The Sixers are 0-3 and iverson shoots all the time. Hey, Chris Webber plays on that team doesn't he? Oh, I forgot. We could have learned that if we would have listened to Larry Brown.

Maybe we should have stayed at Georgetown and learned something.


Well, before I went to school one day this week, my dad and I were watching ESPN2's Cold Pizza, I heard a guy say if Iverson passes the ball they can go to the playoffs... what do you think, will happen? Is he The greatest in the league? I don't know.. Well hers a little Answer for the Answer NO, because if you do the basics first you can do the hard things and then, you will be a team leader.

Spurs VS Cleveland!!!

Wow, I'm watching Cleveland and the Spurs. And my take on the game - Lebron needs to play more defense. I'm mean are you trying to be like Mike? Or just wear his number I mean c'mon!!! You've been in the league for 3 years and you haven't started to play defense.

Why did the Bulls dominate all those years?? Defense, Lebron, Defense. Next thing you know.. you'll try to get the "Answer" from A.I. They don't call it artificial intelligence for nothing!!!

If Lebron plays defense and Iverson passes the ball and doesn't shoot 499 times. Maybe the Spurs won't cut through the league like well I can't repeat what my dad says about Kobe.

2005-2006 Calvary Christian Basketball Season!!!!

I tried out for my school basketball team and I made it!!!! It was hard though, we ran and ran and ran. I know the pros run alot but I got tired. But, I've been waiting to play for school all my life!!! Now I can. My mom and dad said I have to keep my grades up. That's going to be hard. We have practice every night except Wednesdays. The NBA season started so I will be saying alot about that when I watch the games. I did see the Lakers beat the Nuggets last night. It went into double over time!!! Then I had to go to bed so I watched it this morning on ESPN. I can't wait to see what the Miami does against the Lakers!!

Basketball's Greatest Moments

I've been watching basketball for a long time. These are some of the things I remember.

Boston Celtics had 8 Championships in a row. Larry Bird Scored a perfect 30 in the three point shootout. Michael Jordan made the worst team into the best team with great team play. When Kareem Abdul Jabbar couldn't play center anymore during the Finals, Magic Johnson took his place as a rookie and won the championship. Dr.J was the first person to dunk from the freethrow line. VC, otherwise known as Vince Carter, put his arm in the rim in a dunk contest. These are just a few of my greatest memories in basketball history.

NBA's All -Time Greats

Oscar Robertson averaged a triple double for a season. He led the league in assists.
Dr.J was the best dunker of all time. He averaged 22 points a game. He started the dunking craze in ABA, which became a part of the NBA. Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points and he played for three different teams. Kareem Abdul Jabbar invented the sky hook. He has the most points scored in the NBA. Magic Jonhson led the league in assists in the 80's. He got his nickname from impossible plays he did.

Spurs Announce 2005 Preseason Schedule

The San Antonio Spurs have announced their 2005 preseason schedule. The NBA Champion Spurs will open the 2005 preseason against the Philadelphia 76ers on October 12 in South Carolina.

The Spurs will then head to the campus of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to face the Washington Wizards (10/13). San Antonio is then set to return to the SBC Center floor for the first time since winning Game 7 of the 2005 NBA Finals for a tilt with the Houston Rockets (10/15). Road games against the Indiana Pacers (10/18) and New Orleans Hornets (10/20) will follow, before three home games against the New York Knicks (10/22), Indiana Pacers (10/25) and Philadelphia 76ers (10/27) round out the preseason schedule.

Tickets for the Spurs four 2005 preseason home games will go on sale Saturday, July 23, at 11 a.m. Preseason tickets for the 2005 NBA Champion Spurs can be purchased by going to any Ticketmaster outlet including Foley’s, spurs.com, ticketmaster.com, or by calling 225-TEAM (credit card only).
